Proposal of a production for the festival of theatre for young audiences in Berlin.

Notes on the form

Entries in the form cannot be saved temporarily. Please ensure that all required data and information are available before completing the form. Please make sure that the title of your production and the name of your theatre are spelled correctly to ensure smooth publication and further processing of the proposals. During this submission phase, only proposals that premiered between 16.08.2025 and 15.05.2026 can be submitted.

NOTE: Starting with this year’s application process, proposals with a late premiere date can be submitted without a video or further materials if the premiere is scheduled between March 15 and May 15, 2026. The curating team can then plan a trip to see the show. Proposals with a late premiere date cannot be withdrawn and replaced with other proposals. Please note that the proposal can only be considered in the final selection process once you have submitted all necessary data, media (see production recording), and production materials. The submission deadline is June 8, 2026.

The proposing theatre assures with the proposal that the production, if selected, will be available for a guest performance in Berlin for the entire period from 13 to 18 April 2027.*

With this proposal, the proposing theatre assures that it can dispose of this production and is responsible for the organisation and conclusion of the contract.*

I hereby assure you that I have read the terms of use for the materials I have submitted.*

The production materials and media you submit will be used for the following purposes:
1. Organization and implementation of the selection process,
2. Conception and organization of the festival's guest performance program and supporting program, and
3. Press and public relations work for the festival (focus: photos, video material).

A separate agreement will be made regarding point 3 if your proposed production is invited to the festival.

After the festival, all submitted production materials and media will be transferred to the collection of the KJTZ. Subject to copyright and data protection regulations, the archives and media will be made available to users of the collection for research purposes.

Private Policy

The data submitted will be used and stored by the organizer (KJTZ). Data submitted via the online form and the materials provided via the KJTZBOX (cloud storage) will be used for the following purposes: Processing and review of the proposals by the curators and organizers of the selection process for the AUGENBLICK MAL! 2027 festival. Should the proposed production be invited to the festival, the data and materials will also be processed for the organization and public relations work of the festival and its program (based on Art. 6 para. 1 DS-GVO) as well as for project documentation for sponsors.

The proposing theatre is responsbile for the lawful transmission and availability of personal data to the KJTZ, insofar as this is necessary for the KJTZ to carry out the processing of personal data for the stated purposes.

After the conclusion of the events, personal data will be deleted in accordance with legal requirements; the proposals received and materials submitted will be included in the collection of the KJTZ for archiving purposes in the public interest as well as for scientific and historical research purposes (based on §40 BDSG; Art. 89 DSGVO).

Furthermore, you have a right to free information about your stored data as well as, under certain circumstances, a right to correction, deletion and restriction of the processing of the data. In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
